From one restaurant in Coventry to point of sale for venues across the UK.

    Humble beginnings

    We opened our first restaurant in Coventry, and learned first-hand just how much goes into running one.

  2. 2001

    A success story

    The restaurant did well enough for us to open two more. With three sites to run, we went looking for an EPOS system to make life easier.

  3. 2004

    Years of experimenting

    We tried the handful of POS systems available at the time. None of them really fitted the way a busy restaurant works.

  4. 2005

    An idea is born

    So we started building our own, designed around what business owners actually need, day in, day out.

  5. 2006

    Tested in a real kitchen

    The first version went live in our own restaurant. Over the next few years, we started offering it to other local restaurants too.

  6. 2013

    Going full-fledged

    With great feedback from restaurant owners, we became a limited company so we could help more businesses.

  7. 2023

    OnePlusTwo is founded

    After more than 15 years, we launched OnePlusTwo as a sister company, with modern technology and a fresh design built for today's venues.

  8. 2024

    Self-service kiosks arrive

    We introduced our self-service kiosk app for hospitality, and we've kept adding new ways to help venues serve customers faster ever since.
